Through the divine wisdom given by Bhaiya Shri Nandkishore Sharda, the Buddhi-Vivek Yoga Sadhana and selfless action, this mission draws a person towards a life full of joy, peace and human virtue.
The growth of virtue within every person
Under a special mission, Jagatjanani Maa Tripurasundari and Bhagwan Shiv — Babuji — sent their beloved son, Yugpravartak Shri Nandkishore Sharda (Bhaiyaji), into the world. Through him a simple spiritual path was given to humanity, one shaped to the conditions of today's scientific age, on which every person can walk.
This path is beyond the divisions of age, class, caste and creed. Its aim is that a person cultivates virtue within, carries out their worldly duties without attachment, lives with joy, peace and contentment, and — moving from the human towards the divine — makes their life of true worth.
A new practice grounded in buddhi and vivek
Bringing together knowledge, devotion, selfless action and yoga, Bhaiyaji gave a divine wisdom that is true, eternal, universal and grounded in science. On that same basis he set out the practice of Buddhi-Vivek Yoga Sadhana.
This practice can be taken up readily in today's materialist times. Its essence is that a person does not flee from worldly life, but transforms it — with awakened discernment, positive thought, the right path and love for God.
Darshan of Jagatjanani Maa through complete surrender
Through true longing, firm resolve, severe sadhana, tireless effort and pure love, Bhaiyaji won the grace of Jagatjanani Maa Tripurasundari and received her darshan. Taking Maa herself as his guru, he received divine wisdom from her.
Then, by Maa's grace, command and blessing, Bhaiyaji opened the spiritual path for seeking sadhaks — Sushri Basanti Manihar, Sushri Madhubala Advani and others. From this the Manidweep Adhyatm Parivar — the Maa Parivar — was formed.
From divine wisdom, faith and trust in God
The nectar-like knowledge given by Jagatjanani Maa was set down, at Bhaiyaji's direction, in the divine book “Mrityu ke Baad ka Alaukik Sansar” (The Supernatural World After Death). Through this work hundreds of people have experienced proof of God's existence and, understanding this eternal truth, have come to know joy, peace and contentment.
Drawn to this same knowledge, many sadhaks are moving towards inner progress alongside the Manidweep Adhyatm Parivar.
Projects for the empowerment of girls and women
Within Nishkam Karma Sadhana, Bhaiyaji began projects for the empowerment of girls and women — the Swami Vivekanand Students' Welfare Charitable Trust and the Maa Shardamani Trust. The aim is that no girl in need, of any caste, religion or community, is denied her basic right to education for want of money.
Through these trusts, seeds of sanskar and of spirituality are also sown in the girls. This sacred work has continued without a break for the past 30 years.
To give scholarships to boys in need, Maa Basanti — at Jagatjanani Maa's command — founded the Gyanyogi Shri Nandkishore Sharda Adhyatm Kendra in 2010. Through these trusts, hundreds of students each year are building their future, from Class 9 up to higher professional study.
Steady support for families in need
During the Covid period, seeing the weak finances of many families in Jodhpur and Balotra districts, Maa Basanti — following Jagatjanani Maa's guidance — began a monthly distribution of food-grain in 2020. With rising prices and the continuing need of these families, the work goes on today.
By March 2025, 14,000+ food-grain kits had been distributed under this scheme. Sewing machines and other support are given to women in need for their livelihood, and free yoga classes are held every day.
Publishing and free distribution of spiritual literature
After Bhaiyaji left the physical body on 24 January 2003, Maa Basanti and Madhu Maa founded the Shri Nandkishore Sharda Gyan Ganga Mission on 16 April 2003, for the publishing and free distribution of spiritual literature.
Its purpose is to publish and carry forward Bhaiyaji's priceless knowledge, reflections and papers — such as his personal diary — so that this Ganga of divine wisdom keeps flowing, offering present and future generations the guidance to help build a new age.
A family moving forward, lighting flame from flame
The work Bhaiyaji began was carried on smoothly by Maa Basanti. After she left the physical body in 2021, Madhu Maa now guides all of this work with care.
Today the members of the Manidweep Adhyatm Parivar, in complete surrender to Yugpravartak Shri Nandkishore Sharda — the beloved of Jagatjanani Maa Tripurasundari and Bhagwan Shiv (Babuji) — grow on the spiritual path themselves. Alongside this, they carry the work of spreading divine wisdom, selflessly, for universal brotherhood, world peace and human welfare.
