A principle given by Yugpravartak Shri Nandkishore Sharda

The mission's living symbol

Leading towards transcendent joy, love and peace, this symbol distils Manidweep's spiritual identity and the underlying purpose of its sadhana into a single image.

Working towards world-brotherhood, world-peace and human welfare

Manidweep's identity

A symbol is an identity. Manidweep's identity is a family devoted to spirituality, working towards world-brotherhood, world-peace and human welfare. Its distinguishing feature is that it belongs to no particular religion — anyone can adopt it for their own welfare.

The Adhyatm Parivar holds Jagatjanani Maa at its centre, so 'Maa' sits at the centre of the symbol. In that same spirit, a person of any faith may place the founder of their own religion at the centre and still walk these same steps towards their own welfare.

This family works to spread joy, peace and happiness across the whole world. Manidweep is a family built on mutual love, and pure love is its foundation.

Manidweep's symbol
The idea behind the symbol

A living sign of sadhana's knowledge and purpose

Bhaiya Shri Nandkishore Sharda had already conceived Manidweep's symbol during his lifetime; Maa Basanti Manihar gave it its finished form.

Buddhi-Vivek Yog Sadhna is a means and a path, while Manidweep's symbol is the root knowledge and purpose behind that sadhana. Its grandeur and effect are truly felt only once a person advances in its practice.

The order shown in the symbol is not incidental — it rests on the guide's own realisation and deep reflection. A seeker is expected to follow this same order with faithful devotion.

The order of sadhana

A journey from inquiry to welfare

The symbol presents a sequenced view of sadhana that refines a seeker from within, outward.

01

Jigyasa — inquiry

A strong inquiry gives rise to firm resolve and passion for reaching one's goal. At Manidweep, inquiry into spirituality is awakened on the ground of reason and intellect.

02

Gyan — knowledge

True knowledge inspires a person to move towards their goal with self-confidence. But knowledge is an endless ocean, and knowing which of it truly serves one's own goal is difficult — hence the need for a guide who has walked the path themselves. The Buddhi-Vivek Yog Sadhna method offers exactly this guidance, suited to each seeker's own spiritual level.

03

Satkarma — right action

Satkarma is the work through which one's spirituality advances, virtues develop, and real support reaches someone else's own life-building — whether through the right word of guidance, caring for someone unwell, or material help. At Manidweep this takes shape in girls' education and sanskar, in guidance offered to students, and in reaching food assistance to families in need during a crisis such as the COVID pandemic.

04

Aradhana — devotion

A person filled with inquiry, knowledge and right action becomes worthy of devotion. As the mind grows clear and the heart calm, selfless love and remembrance of God begin to become the foundation of life — and this same inner transformation inspires them, in turn, to support the growth and character of others.

05

Kalyan — welfare

Kalyan is the goal's final flowering. A seeker joined to God and touched by grace kindles positive thought and the right path in others too, simply through their own presence.

The natural next step

How does Buddhi-Vivek Yog Sadhna help in life?

The symbol shows the direction of sadhana; Buddhi-Vivek Yog Sadhna is the method that carries that direction into practice. It brings clarity of thought, discernment in decisions, balance of mind, and the inspiration for joy, peace and positive action in life.
