The service work of the Manidweep Adhyatm Parivar is carried out through four registered public trusts. Their registration documents, financial reports and scholarship certificates are publicly available here.
How the financial support is managed
The financial support each trust receives is kept safe as a bank fixed deposit, and the entire interest earned on it is distributed to scholarships and service work. Administrative costs such as telephone, post, stationery and travel are borne personally by the trusts' members. All the trusts are registered under section 12A and (where applicable) section 80G of the Income Tax Act; donations are eligible for tax exemption under 80G.
