Why Bhaiyaji is called Yugpravartak
Bhaiyaji devoted his entire life to Maa Tripurasundari's work, to human welfare and to selfless giving. Such a stream of knowledge, sadhana, service and world-brotherhood flowed from his life that it set in motion a new consciousness in this age.

Seeing the many dimensions of Bhaiyaji's work, one wonders how he devoted his entire life to human welfare and selfless giving. He offered his whole being to Maa Tripurasundari, and held every act as Maa's own work.
Through this complete surrender, his sense of doership dissolved and he was freed from the bondage of action. He dispelled the darkness of ignorance and spread the light of knowledge. For him, spirituality was never merely a private realisation; it was a sadhana of bringing light to life, to society and to humanity.
A true Yugpravartak is one who, by mastering themselves, becomes a path for the age. This is what Bhaiyaji did.
Knowledge beyond the bounds of time, caste and tradition
Bhaiyaji's knowledge is so practical and simple that a person can pursue spirituality even while using worldly comforts as needed. Because this knowledge is given by Jagatjanani Maa herself, it stands beyond time, universal, true, eternal and timeless.
His method of sadhana can be practised naturally, without restriction, by a person of any caste, religion or sect. Taking Jagatjanani Maa as his guru, Bhaiyaji attained divine vision and understood the mysteries of the cosmos's creation. His divine text, based on his own realisation, The Wonderful World After Death, has become a wellspring of inspiration in the field of spirituality.
Studying it awakens in seekers freedom from worldly attachment, lust and anger, and inspires the experience of divine consciousness. Even many non-believers have, upon reading it, taken steps towards faith.
A journey of sadhana written from the age of twelve
Bhaiyaji's handwritten diary, which he began writing at the age of twelve, is a living account of his sadhana, spiritual progress, thoughts and struggle through difficult circumstances. Its most significant aspect is its description of his direct darshan of Jagatjanani Maa.
It is a source of reassurance and inspiration for seekers who still wonder today whether Maa's darshan is possible in this age. The diary firmly affirms that selfless love, surrender and sadhana can win Maa's grace.
"When Maa Basanti Ji entered a state of divine absorption, she would come into direct connection with Jagatjanani Maa. Once, she was softly humming, 'There is no one like Bhaiya.'"This utterance is held to be Jagatjanani Maa's own divine voice.
He gave not support to those in need, but self-reliance
From childhood, Bhaiyaji's personality was marked by renunciation, love and sensitivity. He felt keenly the suffering of others, and never hesitated to give up his own comforts to help them.
No one who came to him ever went away empty-handed. He helped many people find employment, set up shops, and obtain the machines they needed, so that they might become self-reliant. In this way he gave hundreds of families financial strength, and made self-reliance a vehicle for service.
Even in childhood, he envisioned a society where a person would limit their own needs and put some part of their income towards meeting the basic needs of others. In his view, the whole earth was one great family.

A light of hope in the future of thousands of girls
Through the Swami Vivekanand Students' Welfare Charitable Trust, thousands of girls are receiving education, building successful lives, and becoming an inspiration to society. The Buddhi-Vivek Yog Sadhna method given by Bhaiyaji aids a person's physical, mental and intellectual development. Through its practice, discernment grows clear, the body stays healthy, the mind becomes focused and calm, self-confidence rises, and fear and stress diminish.
As a result, a person can perform better across the various fields of life, including business, employment and education. Concentration and a thirst for knowledge grow in students. Envy and attachment-aversion diminish, and a feeling of love, respect and cooperation develops.
Restraint in speech increases happiness, peace and harmony in family and at work. The capacity to resolve differences through dialogue and peace develops. In this way this sadhana carries a person forward towards success, letting them face life's challenges with confidence and courage.
Not one person, but an institution that gives direction to an age
Shri Nandkishore Sharda Bhaiya was not one person, but an institution. Soft-spoken, calm, grave, gentle and possessed of a simple personality, his very physical existence was suffused with consciousness. His life is an open book, like the clear flow of the sacred Ganga.
A new age has already begun. He gave, suited to the material, social and spiritual needs of this age, a new way of thinking, a new method and new knowledge. As a result, a spiritual family has come into being, committed and devoted to re-establishing human values.
Today, thousands of people, walking the path Bhaiyaji showed, are making their worldly and spiritual lives more joyful and meaningful. Lamp is lighting lamp, and an awakening of thought has already begun, its radiance starting to spread across the whole world.
