Her coming to Jodhpur was itself a great wonder
Maa Madhubala Advani's coming to Jodhpur is itself a great wonder. Her forebears were residents of Sindh before Partition. Because of a railway engineer's post, her father moved from Sindh to India.
She is the youngest child of her father, Shri Jeevanlal Advani, and her mother, Smt. Lakshmi Devi. Her eight siblings were each born there at intervals of two years, but Madhu Maa was born in 1951 in Sirsa, in the Punjab region of India.
An unlooked-for divine meeting with Maa Basanti at a hospital
It was the golden day in the life of the 19-year-old Madhu Maa when, by divine grace, she met — unlooked for, at a hospital — her spiritual mother, first guide and sadguru, Maa Basanti Manihar. Both were there caring for their own mothers.
At the hospital, Maa Basanti introduced Madhu Maa to her own spiritual guide and sadguru, Shri Nandkishore Sharda — Bhaiyaji. In time, under Maa Basanti's care, Bhaiyaji became Madhu Maa's spiritual guide as well.
The flame to attain knowledge was lit in her heart
In 1971 Madhu Maa took admission for an MA in Psychology in Jodhpur. Those two years became milestones on her spiritual path. Almost every day, returning from college, she would stop at the Manihar building, the Siddhapeeth, and have spiritual reflection and discussion with Maa Basanti and Bhaiyaji.
Reasoned answers to all her doubts came from Maa Basanti and Bhaiyaji. This true knowledge became the foundation of her spiritual life. No great temptation of the world could draw her now; giving up passing pleasures, the attainment of eternal divine love became the root purpose of her life.
Accepted from the heart as Maa Basanti's daughter
In his handwritten diary, Yugpravartak Shri Nandkishore Sharda wrote special lines for Maa Madhubala Advani. Their sense is that Bhaiyaji and the world of consciousness accepted her, from the heart, as Maa Basanti's daughter.
In Bhaiyaji's company, Madhu Maa's bond was not limited to discipleship; it became an intimate spiritual bond, joined to Maa Basanti's tenderness, care and the tradition of consciousness.— a sense of the diary lines
A sadhana borne to fruit by the blessing of Bhaiyaji and Maa Basanti
Bhaiyaji had Madhu Maa do even the very hardest practices in so simple a way that she felt as though Bhaiyaji himself were giving her the powers to complete them, carrying her forward on the spiritual path with joy.
He had her do the practices of many great conscious powers, had her receive their blessings, had her undergo many divine experiences, and even had her meet Maa Saraswati face to face. Maa Basanti also had her do the sadhana of the formless supreme. Every practice Madhu Maa did with full concentration was borne to fruit by the blessing of Maa and Bhaiyaji.
Giving Bhaiyaji's nectar-like knowledge the form of words
Madhu Maa received the rare fortune of setting down the divine book “The Wonderful World After Death”, composed by Bhaiya Shri Nandkishore Sharda. This work was not merely writing, but a sadhana of carrying divine wisdom to humanity.
The knowledge and experiences she received from Bhaiyaji and Maa Basanti made Madhu Maa so mature within that her life became an unbroken stream of knowledge, sadhana and service.
Service as directed by Jagatjanani Maa, Bhaiyaji and Maa Basanti
When Maa Basanti left the physical body in 2021, Madhu Maa took up the running of all the work, very smoothly, as directed by Jagatjanani Maa, Bhaiyaji and Maa Basanti.
This work includes the running of all the trusts, the publishing and distribution of spiritual literature, the growth of education, sanskar and spirituality in girls through the Sunday morning classes, the guidance of seekers through the evening spiritual knowledge discussions, the distribution of food-grain to those in need, free yoga classes, and the running of the sewing centre.
A stream of joyful smile and loving teaching
The knowledge the compassionate Madhu Maa learned from Bhaiyaji and Maa Basanti and made her own — that same experienced, divine, nectar-like knowledge she now spreads with full devotion.
Her gentle nature, her childlike simplicity, her joyful smile and her compassionate, sweet manner easily bind everyone in love. She makes even the most serious subject warm, explaining it with affection, so that the heart bows in reverence before the depth of her knowledge.
The present flow of knowledge, compassion and service
To this day Madhu Maa, bringing into life the divine wisdom received from Bhaiyaji and Maa Basanti, carries joy, peace, happiness and a true love of God into the lives of seekers, students and those in need.
Her presence is the present heartbeat of Manidweep, where knowledge is not merely spoken, but lived — as compassion, sanskar, good work and warm guidance.
